The unknown turquoise islands of Halkidiki, in Vourvourou

Enjoy a flight over the islets of Peristeri and Elia which are a breath away from the second leg of Halkidiki, at the height of Vourvourous.
They are a beautiful complex of islands with turquoise waters, ideal for swimming, double beaches and small “blue lakes” that will impress even the most demanding visitor.

For many years the islands had been discovered and built by eminent Northern Helladians, who chose them as their resorts for the summer months.

With the tourist development of Sithonia and Vourvourou in particular, these small “paradise” are becoming more and more known and easy to visit.

According to the 2nd World War, about 3,000 soldiers fled from these islands to the Middle East, with submarines. Thanks to the topography of the area, such operations were favored as there are many coves-hidden coves.

You can also go to the islands by renting a boat from Vourvourou.
